Stay up to code with the NFPA 25 California Fire Protection Code 2006
The California edition of NFPA 25 has been adopted into CCR Title 19 and base edition of NFPA 25, and takes effect on April 7, 2007.
The California-specific portions of this Code are fully integrated into the text of the current NFPA 25, so you don't have to go back and forth cross-referencing two separate documents. Moreover, the new California Edition includes nine new forms created specifically for California. This document establishes the minimum requirements for the period inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems, including land-based and marine applications. It covers sprinkler, standpipe and hose, fixed water spray and foam water. This document also covers the water supplies that are part of these systems, such as private fire service mains, and appurtenances, fire pumps and water storage tanks, and valves that control system flow.
